Abstract:
     The invention discloses a time measuring method and apparatus used in ultrasonic time measuring system. The apparatus comprises an ultrasonic sender, an ultrasonic receiver, a signal edge detector, a time counter, a counter time measuring pulse, a number counter and a time computing unit. It uses the signal edge detector to stop the counting when the counter pulse edge of time counter is coincident with the ultrasonic signal edge to reduce the time measuring error. The invention can be used in ultrasonic time measuring system.
