| This invention relates to a nondestructive testing method for shockproof properties of mechanical watches. The method is particularly suitable for testing shockproof performances of mechanical watches, so that it may be substituted for the destructive hammer test used so far for many years as an inspection method to check quality and thereby the loss is lowered and the reliability of shockproof properties of watches is raised. According to the method, whole set of means and standard for testing six sensitive parts liable to be destroyed by shock. After testing, and then comparing with the hammer test, the results are of extreme reliability, and its identity reaches to more than 95%, hence taking risks in the past whether the shockproof functions can be ensured or not are unnecessary. As the shockproof properties of every watch manufactured are guaranleed, the economic benefit is increased for the factory and society. | |||
