Abstract:
     A method for measuring and regulating the escapement mechanism of mechanical pendulum clock with special measuring tool features that a special measuring tool other than traditional ocular estimate is used to measure the lock value of escapement mechanism, the angle of drive arm of escapement lever other than the angle of escapement lever is measured, and the angle values relative to fall down the drive arm are used to calculate the value of lock angle. The special angle protractor used has two locating holes and graduation lines whose intersecting point is coincided with rotating center of lever fork.
