Abstract:
    A radio controlled clock/watch having a simple structure, positively adopting both fixed time reception and forced reception of the standard time, executing minimal reception, accurately receiving information including time or calendar through the standard wave efficiently, and correcting the time with high precision. The radio controlled clock/watch (1) correcting the time by receiving the standard wave comprises receiving means (2), clocking means (18), display means (4), controlling means (10) for controlling the driven state of the clocking means (18), external input means (7), and control information storage means (8). Fixed time reception by a first reception method and forced reception according to the operation of the external input means (7) by a second reception method are singly or sequentially performed. The first reception method for the fixed time reception is different from the second one for the forced reception.
