Abstract:
    The invention provides a method and a metal mold structure for molding timepiece gear train support plates and capable of easily and accurately forming winding stem insertion hole parts, provide a timepiece gear train support plate molded by them, and provide a timepiece provided with the same. The metal mold structure for molding timepiece gear train support plates comprises first and second metal molds and a core. The first and second metal molds are opened and closed in thickness directions of the timepiece gear train support platefor specifying a void for forming the contour of the timepiece gear train support plate when closed, and a protrusion protruding into the void in a thickness direction for forming a winding stem back end part housing a recess and forming the recess for housing the winding stem back end part. The core is inserted in the void from a side wall of the first or second metal mold in the direction of extension of the timepiece gear train support plate to bring its tip into contact with a side surface of the protrusion for forming a hole part for housing a winding stem main body part.
