Abstract:
     This write unit adjusting device using light beam evaluation method is provided with a write unit for forming an electrostatic latent image on the surface of a latent image carrying body by light beams from a laser light source while incorporating a scanning optical system, an image producing unit which at least incorporates the latent image carrying body and moving means which move the write unit and the image producing unit relatively along the main scanning direction in order to adjust a deviated portion in the main scanning direction of the light beams.
