Abstract:
    The invention provides a photographic processing device which is capable of lessening the loss of paper. The photographic processing device which is mounted with a paper magazine housed, in a roll form, with the long-sized paper connected via splicing parts and formed with detection holes for detecting the splicing parts near the splicing parts in the longitudinal direction of the paper and can process the paper is provided with a cutter which cuts the paper drawn out of the paper magazine as prints of prescribed sizes and cuts the paper as splicing paper including the splicing parts and the detection holes, a transporting means which transports the cut paper, a pressure contact roller which is disposed at the transporting means and has the same width as the width of the detection holes or the width narrower than this width and a sorting transporting mechanism which moves the splicing paper in a transporting width direction to a position where the pressure contact roller 31a does not verge on the detection holes.
