Abstract:
    The present invention provides a locking mechanism for locking an open-and-close cover disposed on a photosensitive material processor. This locking mechanism 10 has a locking member 11 which is oscillatable between a locking position to lock the cover 8 for opening and closing a film mounting section 3 in its closing position and an unlocking position to permit the displacement of the cover and engages the cover in the locking position; and a switching button 14 which is displaced to oscillate the locking member from the locking position to the unlocking position. This locking mechanism is further provided with an interlocking member 15 which can change over the switching button from an interlocking position where the displacement of the switching button is obstructed and a releasing position where the displacement of the switching button is permitted; and a solenoid 18 which changes over the position of the interlocking member. This locking mechanism provide surely averts opening of the cover by an inadvertent operation of a switching button and solves the problems inherent to the prior art.
