Abstract:
     The present invention discloses one kind of high molecular benzophenone photoinitiator and its preparation process. The preparation process includes the first reaction of benzophenone halide and p-amino phenol or p-amino thiophenol to produce benzophenone with amino group; the subsequent reaction between the amino group and acryloyl chloride or methyl acryloyl chloride to produce polymerisable benzophenone photoinitiator; and final freed radical copolymerization with tertiary amine with unsaturated double bond to produce high molecular benzophenone photoinitiator. Owing to the phenoxy radical or thiophenyl radical, the high molecular benzophenone photoinitiator has great red shift of ultraviolet absorption relative to that of benzophenone. The introduction of tertiary amine as hydrogen donor makes it possible to initiate polymerization without introducing other hydrogen donor. The present invention has no toxicity and no migration and may be applied in ultraviolet curing and other fields.
