Abstract:
    A display apparatus is provided to promote the reduction of power consumption. A plurality of gate lines 51 connected to a gate driver 50 for supplying gate signals, and a plurality of drain lines 61 connected to a drain driver 60 for supplying drain signals are provided on a substrate 10. A a TFT 70 connected to the signal lines 51, 61 are arranged near the across part of the lines 51, 61. The display apparatus includes a signal holding circuit 110 which holds digital signals connected to a source 11s of the TFT 70 and a signal selecting circuit 120 which selects signals according to the signals from the holding circuit, a first display circuit for supplying a signal A or signal B to liquid crystal 21 accroding to the signals from the signal selecting circuit 120, an assistant capacitor 700 connected with the source 11s of the TFT 70 and holding the analog signals, and a second display circuit for supplying a signal stored in the assistant capacitor 700 to a display electrode 80.
