Abstract:
    To provide an optical equipment constituted so that a diopter ring is fixed to a lens barrel without using a set screw. Binoculars are provided with a main body part having an optical system required for observation, the lens barrel which houses an eyepiece and which is loaded in the main body part in a state where the optical axis of the eyepiece is aligned with the optical axis of the optical system, a mechanism correcting diopter by moving the eyepiece of the lens barrel in an optical axis direction in accordance with the turning operation of the lens barrel with respect to the main body part by a user, the diopter ring externally inserted in the lens barrel and an engagement member inserted in a part of the ring and a part of the lens barrel in a state where it is respectively engaged with them..
