Abstract:
     The station comprises the rainfall sensor, the intelligent rainfall recorder and power supply. The counter under the rainfall skip bucket makes real time counting and transferring the counting pulse signal to the intelligent rainfall recorder. The recorder comprises data processor with micro power consumption, the LCD display, non-volatile data storage, the phone modem, RS 232 interface etc, and the DC power source supplied by the accumulator charged from the solar battery supports the system. The counting accuracy reaches 0.1mm. The data acquisition memory system in low-power dissipation and large capacity is supported by lithium battery. The recorded data can be saved for more than ten years without losing any data under complete electroless condition. The device can be connected to PC for data analysis constituting the remote type automatic rainfall station suitable to be installed in field for networked observing, recording saving and querying.
