Abstract:
     A method for measuring buried length of metal pipeline includes connecting a measuring output terminal of clock signal source to any starting end of metal pipeline to be measured, turning clock signal source and synchronous receiver on and making their clock pulse signals be on synchronized state, moving said receiver to any point in certain distance to said starting end along buried direction of metal pipeline above ground, receiving electromagnetic wave radiated by metal pipeline to be measured at said point by receiving antenna of said receiver ,recording and analyzing signal then displaying actual length of starting end of buried pipeline to position of said receiver.
