Abstract:
    The invention relates to medical imaging equipment (1) comprising a radiation source (3) for emitting measuring radiation (4), a receiver for receiving the measuring radiation (4) that is emitted by the radiation source (3), in addition to a measuring region, in which an object (7) to be measured is placed and which is situated in the beam path of the measuring radiation (4), between the radiation source (3) and the receiver. According to the invention, the receiver comprises a support (5), which can be pivoted about a rotational axis (10), has at least two receiving surfaces (11, 12) for the measuring radiation (4) and displaces the receiving surfaces (11, 12) alternately into a measuring position. Said receiving surfaces (11, 12) run essentially parallel to the rotational axis (10) of the carrier (5) and the rotational axis (10) of the carrier (5) is essentially perpendicular to the beam path of the measuring radiation (4).
