Abstract:
     The method includes steps: crushing up specimen, and filling in crushed specimen to box; placing capping on surface of stone powder to make low face of the capping close fit to up surface of specimen of stone powder, and the upper surface of the capping is aligned to upper opening of the box, turning on the capping to seal box; measurement can be carried out at any date so as to obtain specific activity of 214Pb or 214Bi of 226Ra daughter as specific activity of ARa(T) of 226Ra at Tth date. After correction computation of degree of balance, the specific activity of 226Ra of the stone at equilibrium is obtained. Features are: simple, easy of operation, guaranteeing accuracy of measuring result, and reducing waiting time so as to reach purpose of quick mensuration.
