Abstract:
     The invented device is a transducer used on a permeability testing instrument for atomic hydrogen. It has a sealed structure of atomic hydrogen/metallic oxide "fuel cell" of buttom type. As the bifacial electrode, a 08F high quality carbon steel has its inner side coated with catalyst active layer. The cathode is an electrode of metallic oxide powder. Inserted are the diaphrams saturated with caustic potash liquid. Between the electrodes, is placed a thermoplastic polyvinyl pad. The whole transducer is punched and sealed on a special machine for button cell. The advantages of the product are high signal level, fast response, precision of testing results, reliability, stability, and possibility for direct application in load bearing system.
