| The invention discloses a detecting method and equipment for explosive with nuclear technology. The said method utilizes that the main components of explorated explosive-nitrogen and oxygen, after they are activated by the neutron, shoot out the gamma rays of which the energies are 0.511 and 6.13 million electronic volts. Through real time processing of data, it gives out the decisive conclusion of whether there is any explosive in the luggage or parcel. By using the invented method, the dependability of finding out explosive is good, misdiagnos is probafility is small, the operation is safe, installation is relatively simple, and price is proper. It can be used in airfields or other places for detecting the luaggage or parcel. | |||
