Abstract:
    A method for detecting absorption loss of optical element and surface hot deformation is disclosed, characterized in that: it adopts the union technique of laser calorimeter and surface thermal lens to detect the absolute value of absorption loss of optical element and the surface hot deformation at the same time, it can monitor the real time change of the absorption loss of optical element during the course of laser irradiation. The value of absorption loss is obtained by measuring the change of temperature of the optical element during the course of laser irradiation, and the surface hot deformation is obtained by detecting the amplitude of variation of detecting laser beam intensity caused by surface hot deformation which is caused by absorbing the energy of heating laser beam, the real time change of the absorption loss and the stability of optical elements could be detected by monitoring the real time change of central intensity of the detecting laser beam.
