Abstract:
     The mathematical cutting method for clothes is to use the principle and the process of mathematical analysis and mechanical drawing to treat cloth drawings. It firstly expresses functional relations between special points that determine cloth figures and size elements (such as the lengths of clothes or trousers) analytically. Then, according to type series of clothes, several coordinate value tables for special points of differential clothes drawings are listed respectively. When cutting clothes with some size, one can quickly and exactly get a main drawing for clothes (such as clothes piece, trousers piece) by checking these tables. This method is simple and easy to learn, no memory is necessary.
