Abstract:
    The present invention relates to modified polyacrylonitrile fiber and its preparation process and use. The modified polyacrylonitrile fiber has animal hair powder as modifier and polyacrylonitrile as fiber base body, and consists of acrylonitrile monomer 50.0-98.9 wt%, initiator 0.1-0.4 wt% and fine animal hair powder 1.0-50.0 wt%. The modified polyacrylonitrile fiber preparing process includes the following steps: 1. preparing fine animal hair powder suspension; 2. preparing spinning dope of modified polyacrylonitrile fiber; and 3. preparing modified polyacrylonitrile fiber. The modified polyacrylonitrile fiber is especially suitable for making artificial hair owing to its appearance and quality approaching that of human hair.
