Abstract:
     Fibers for hair use in which the drawback of curling has been mitigated without impairing features of human hair, such as flame retardancy, heat resistance, and touch feeling, and which are reduced in quality unevenness. The fibers are a bundle of fibers for hair use which comprises a mixture of 10 to 90 parts by weight of human hairs (A) and 90 to 10 parts by weight of polyester fibers (B) having an LOI value of 25 or higher, a degree of thermal shrinkage at 180 DEG C of 5% or lower, and a single-fiber fineness of 20 to 100 dtex, wherein the ingredient (B) is polyester fibers formed from a composition obtained by melt-kneading a polyalkylene-ethylene terephthalate and a copolyester consisting mainly of a polyalkylene-ethylene terephthalate (C) together with a phosphorus compound flame retardant (D) and/or a bromine compound flame retardant (E).
