Abstract:
    An optical waveguide measurement method of the laser wave length is to entrance the laser onto the prism and reach the underside. When it is proper for the coupling condition, the light will go into the leaking reversing metal waveguide composed by the prism, the metal film deposited on the prism, the air gap and the metal film deposited on the optical glass. The coupling efficient is sensitive to the change of the wavelength and the reflected light intensity from the prism underside is sensitive to the wavelength. Therefore, it can detect the wavelength change outputted from the laser by detecting the change of the reflected light intensity. It can be used in the wavelength recognition and inhibiting the excursion of the laser wavelength. The invention has the high resolution factor and quickly detecting.
