Abstract:
    The utility model discloses a sound wave characteristic measurer. A pinger (4) connected to the signal generator(1) is installed at the focus of a parabolic sound wave reflecting surface(3); reflected by the parabolic sound wave reflecting surface, spherical wave is converted into plane wave; at the sound wave receiving end, another parabolic sound wave reflecting surface(7)is fasten to movable support(8), and it reflects and converges the plane wave to its focus; the sound wave receiver (6)at the focus transmits the accept signals to be displayed on the digital storage oscilloscope(10); various parameters of sound wave can be measured by the simple fittings. Because the parabolic sound wave reflecting surface converting spherical wave into plane wave, it extends the transmit distance of the sound wave and improves the anti-interference capacity of the system; it not only can be used in experimental teaching, but also can be widely used in the fields of acoustic study and noise control.
