Abstract:
    Disclosed are a belt length adjusting gear for regulating the length of belt (13-16) by using buckle, a carrier such as a baby carrying pad, a baby cart, a wheel chair, and/or a holder such as a baby chair, a child seat, a nursing chair using the adjusting gear, comprising: first belts (13, 15); first retainers (13b, 15b) provided near the roots ends of the first belts; second retainers (13d, 15d) provided separating from the first retainers (13b, 15b), on or adjusting the tip ends of first belts (13, 15); second belts (14, 16) to be connected with the first belts (13, 15); and a third retainer (20) having an opening (21a) allowing the second retainers (13d, 15d) to pass through, which is fitted to the second belts (14, 16). The third retainer has a retaining plate (22) for preventing said retainer having passed through the opening from being pulled off. The belt length is adjustable by a simple operation, when the second retainers have been passed through the opening of third retainer, to have the second retainers checked by the retaining plate of third retainer, or to engage the second retainers with the first retainers.
