Abstract:
     Based on the principle of buoyancy, the present method uses a sensor formed by a force sensitive probe hanging with a measuring rod, which is suspended in the vessel; the level change in the vessel now is measured from the buoyancy information produced by the measuring rod through electric circuit or instrument, and then the level height can be calculated. The invention includes single rod method and double rod method for measuring liquid level with known density and unknown density. Advantage: no mechanical displacement in measuring process, high sensitivity and high accuracy in measurement.
